Decline/Flat Bench Twist Works: Obliques, Uppers (Intermediate)

START POSITION - Assume the above position with a decline of 20-30 degrees. Hands behind head.
|
|
MID/FINISH POSITION From the starting position slowly contract your left oblique muscles while you twist your torso to the right, moving your elbow towards your right knee. Breathe out and slowly and intensely contract your oblique. When you reach a position where your elbow is almost touching your knee, return to the starting position and repeat. Exercise can also be performed on a flat bench.
