Like most I grew up playing sport. I had very motivating parents throughout my
athletic youth. I was always determined to be the best.
After High school I attended massage school to further my curiosity about the
human body. Throughout this time I was working out on and off. Soon after I
joined the Army. I then became more eager to change. I started to get really
interested in Bodybuilding and competing. It's something that was missing in my
life.
I became a personal trainer and started to research things I wasn't clear on.
Of course everyone had a different opinion. Sometimes I would have conflicting
thoughts on what to try or how to go about training. Now I just make it simple.
I train hard ( high intensity ) and rest.

Diet in my opinion is the most important in achieving an extreme physique. I
had well build muscle, it was just hiding behind all my body fat. I eat every
three hours that I'm awake starting at 6am. I limit carbs to my activity levels
throughout the day. I eat because it's time to eat not because I'm hungry. Above
all remember, meal cadence is the key to success. The reason for low carbs is to
keep your insulin levels regulated. When you get a huge insulin spike the fat
burning process comes to a halt. With that said you want to avoid high sugar.
Try to incorporate these items listed to boost your metabolism: Whey protein,
blue berries, almonds, green tea, spinach, and turkey. I take in high amounts of
protein. Remember eat for your body type. Also, I live by this say," Nothing
taste as good as looking good."
Besides stressing the importance of proper nutrition. I work my abs 4 times a
week. I do high repetition. I don't want a thick blocky midsection. I'm very big
on symmetry.
Some people are huge on cardio. Personally I'm a ectomorph body type. I do
cardio about 2 times a week. I rely on diet and high intensity workouts to get
rid of excess fat. I try to keep my cardio to 2-3 times a week so my legs can
get rest and grow. The last thing I want to do is over train. I'm very big on
supersets and compound sets. I work out with free weights. I use dumbbells over
barbells. It's better for isolation and barbells put more strain on your
shoulders. I'm very protective on preventing any future injuries. Also, another
huge factor for not getting the results you want is form. Many people cheat
themselves so they can lift more weight. In return don't get good results and
often cause injury. Keep your muscles guessing. Change your rep range, rest
time, order of exercise, and exercise. You need to keep stimulating your muscles
by not allowing them to get used to one routine. I do training programs not
routines.
In conclusion, in today's world abs is the most loved body part. The answer
is diet, diet, diet. Good luck with SixPackNow. It will get you on the road to
success.
