So how does Akuete keep in such great shape all year round?

I'm currently a manager at a restaurant, while getting ready to pursue a career in modeling and acting.

In achieving great abs, you need to first, love working out then work on your nutrition. I love training my body as it gives me great satisfaction to see my muscularity develop with different exercises and routines. I typically train my abs three times per week, splitting the major abdominal muscle groups into each session. I’ll work my upper abdominals on a Monday, Oblique Muscles on a Wednesday and Lower abs on a Friday. Doing this ensures I am not fatiguing the ab muscle, as it is important to remember, that abs are just like any other muscle group, if you over-train them they are just not going to develop.

As most of the other guys featured in the Abs of the Month Feature have told you, correct nutrition is the key to getting abs. It’s refreshing to have a site like SixPackNow.com who teach people the importance of proper nutrition with their Personalized Ab Plans. I cannot stress enough the importance of a good diet if you want to have a good six pack. I’ll usually start my day with oatmeal or other breakfast cereal and a protein shake. At 10.30 I’ll have some fruit along with a protein bar or other protein source. For lunch it’s typically chicken or turkey in a sandwich or with salad or pasta. At 2.30 I’ll have another protein shake, and then head to the gym around 5pm . After my workout I’ll have a good carb meal consisting of veggies and pasta with fish, chicken or meat. Of course my diet does very from day to day and also depends on my daily schedule. Things I definitely never have are white bread or any greasy foods.

Water is an important aspect, so be sure to keep yourself hydrated with plenty of water throughout the day. I like to keep a bottle with my all day long.

When it comes to fat burning cardio I like to use the jump rope, which is an excellent workout that really elevates the heart rate. I’ll also sometimes switchover to the bike, just for a little variation. I try and do cardio four times weekly to keep my lean, but may add another session if I want to get completely cut up!

My advice to men looking to get in shape is to make a decision and a plan where they want to be, exercise regularly and keep it up. I would encourage anyone who really wants to get great abs to consider a membership with Sixpacknow.com. The advice you’ll get from these guys is second to none.

My top five tips for getting great abs.

1. Enjoy working out almost everyday

2. Do different exercises (right ones)

3. Do not eat too much greasy food

4. Join Sixpacknow.com

5. Eat small but good

I wish you guys all the best on your journey for a great set of abs and I hope this insight into my ab routine provides some helpful tips for you to implement.

Thanks

Akute
