Week
3 is behind me and I am very proud of the pictures! I worked my ass off this
week really focusing on each lift and making sure to hit every muscle group.
Since I have started the program I have not cheated once at my diet and I
don’t feel like I need too. My wife comes up to me and grabs my arm and says
“Wow where did these come from?” That is my main motivation, not some greasy
food! The first two weeks were definitely the hardest, especially with
lifting and keeping to a schedule. But now I want to hit the gym because it
feels so good. I have started harder crunches like the decline crunch. I
feel like my stomach is going to fall apart when I am done, but the next day
I feel strong and ready for some more! I have said it before, but I love my
bike. I wake up early and hop on and pump hard for an hour. It seems the fat
is running scared from my back, which was one of my main goals!
Like I said above I haven’t felt the urge to cheat. Maybe that is because my
wife and I cook such wonderful meals. Just last night she made the healthy
version of stir fry and it was great. She took some brown rice, a tea spoon
of olive oil, carrots, peas, garlic, egg starters and two chicken breasts.
It was the best stir fry I have had! The SixPackNow trainers recommended
that I try Instone pudding for desert, which tastes great and loads on 20
grams of protein, 100 calories and no fat!
I am so very happy and this is just the start of the 4th week! I
look forward to the coming weeks and hope you do as well. I was asked
yesterday if I wasn’t feeling well as I had gotten up 3 times in the past
hour to go to the bathroom. I said “no, that’s what happens when you drink a
gallon of water a day. I feel damn good!”
