Hi
Everyone. So the first week is over and I feel great! Got in all the
workouts and cardio sessions and I believe the pictures compliment the hard
work. The belly is getting flatter and I can tell when I put my clothes on
in the morning. I have been very strict with the diet making sure that I
provide myself with the right amounts of protein and carbohydrates. Making
sure that I have enough energy to kill my workouts has been an extra concern
and now I see why carb rotation is so important! It gives me the extra kick
to hit those last 3 or 4 reps to finish out the set.
Over the past week I put together a resistant band workout which I will be
using during my camping trip in Tahoe. I also have my road bike with me and
plan on riding everyday. The first week I rode an hour on my cardio days and
during the first ten minutes I performed HITT training. One minute of
furious pedaling and then a nice calm ride. This week I will increase this
to the first fifteen minutes of my ride.
This week will be tough on my mental disobedience for food. I am with my
family and they know how to cook! I just arrived last night and on the
counter were three different varieties of cookies that looked amazing. But I
will continue to be strong and make sure I stick to the foods that will
