To tell you a little about myself my name is
Justin and I am excited to be here! I teach fifth grade and am also a
professional magician. Both are extremely fun and I feel very fortunate to
enjoy what I do everyday. In terms of my physique I think of myself as an
average guy. I can run a mile but wouldn’t do it with my shirt off. I
recently contacted Six Pack Now for a few different reasons and I wish to
share those with you.
About two weeks ago I married the most amazing
woman. For our honeymoon we spent two weeks in Saint Maarten and we enjoyed
it so much that we almost did not leave! I assume most people start thinking
about how they are going to look on a beach a week or two before they
arrive. It’s not that I am not confident in myself, but I want to look good!
I don't consider myself fat, but I have fat that is covering the muscles
that I want to show off! On an island where you can find 60% of the women on
the beaches topless, I really didn’t feel good about my body. It seemed like
every day we were on the beach I would see some guy that was ripped. Why
can’t I have this?
Also, on the flight back from San Juan to
Dallas I had horrible heart pain and actually blacked out in my wife’s lap.
I guess my hands were shaking and my eyes were going crazy (being a doctor
she knew what it was called!) The paramedics were called into the terminal
and they thoroughly checked me out. I couldn’t believe what was happening! I
am 26 years old and it felt like I was having a heart attack! Something was
definitely wrong.
Looking back on the past five to eight years my
weight has fluctuated from 220 to 175. Back in high school my parents were
on the Akins diet which I decided to give a try. I dropped some weight but
like most people a good deal of it came back. As time went on I tried the
high protein diet associated with exercise but the motivation was not there.
This up and down fluctuation has been with me for so long and I have never
seen my abs!
I believe the Six Pack Now site will
give me the right tools and information to achieve the goals that I want to
accomplish with my body. I do not just want a six pack; I want a whole body
transformation. I want to have a strong core which I know is important to
support the rest of the body. I want to have a good looking chest with the
all important matching bicep vein. I would also like to kick the love
handles in the butt which have always bothered me! I believe every body part
supports one another so making sure I work every area is very important.
I would also like to change my eating habits. A
few years back I decided to get rid of all processed food which I have done
pretty well with. I believe this has been my saving grace and keeping me the
size I am today. But I do have to say that my wife and I really enjoy good
food! We love to cook and we really like to experience many different kinds
of food. My weakness and last nights dinner was sushi. We usually make sushi
every one or two weeks. It makes me hungry just thinking about it! I know
fish is very good for you but the empty carbohydrates in the white rice are
not. For desert I make mango sweet rice, which I think has around 1000
calories per serving. Tastes damn good, but horrible for trying to
accomplish any goals with your body! I also tend to eat large portions of
food during each meal which I would like to reduce to a right meal size
portion. I really think this is going to be the hardest part of this program
as we really do love to eat good food!
The good news is for the next six weeks I am on
summer break from teaching. I will be working on a few magical projects but
I will be home for most of the time. I will be able to work out at any time
which gives me a lot of flexibility. About four weeks ago my wife and I
bought road bikes. For those of you that ride, you know it is addicting.
Before I left for my wedding I didn’t drive my jeep for 3 weeks. Every day I
was pedaling down the street to work or just taking a casual ride. This will
cover my cardio for the program and I will try to ride 20 miles per day.
I am very excited to start this 12 week
transformation program. I believe I have all the right tools and help in
front of me to accomplish what I am looking for. Some things to watch out
for while tracking my progress are the weekly photos and journal entries.
The Six Pack Now team also asked me to post a weekly video sharing
how the week went. I think this will be a nice feature especially for me to
look back and see what is working and what is not. Thanks for reading a
little bit about me and look forward to talking with you all very soon.
