Hi Vince, first off let me say that my goal is to look like you when I am 40...actually you look WAY better than ANY of the guys I know at my age and I am 28! My question is what kind of mental training can I do in case I start to get bored with working out mainly when I don't feel like getting up and running in the morning before breakfast.  Also what are some tricks that can keep me from levelling out at one certain weight because right now I am kind of stuck in the 220 lb area. My goal is to get healthier and I am 5 ft seven inches what would be a good weight for me to shoot for, I was thinking 175 I really want to get down to your percentage of body fat.  Oh and just one other quick question. Which brand of supplements would you recommend? Thank you very much for your time. Keep up the good work you are a huge inspiration to me. Jerry View Vince's Response

What is the best way to gain as much muscle mass as possible? View Vince's Response

I understand that performing cardio first thing in the morning would be best. I would like to know if I can also do my weight training together with my cardio in the morning?

When I weighed myself, my weight went from 196 to 191 (great I thought) but, my scale read 30% fat in both weigh ins. Meaning that I didn't lose any body fat? That is my main goal right now and of course not to lose muscle would be great. If anything would like to gain muscle weight while losing body fat. What am I doing wrong? View Vince's Response

Hi Vince, What does your ab workout consist of? View Vince's Response

Well my question is about my diet and workout and if you think i'm on the right track. View Vince's Response

How do you keep your nutrition in check without counting calories? Isn't doing that putting you in guessing mode therefore you don't know if you consumed too many calories or to little? Luz View Vince's Response

As far as supplements go I have a few questions.  First off I was wondering about fat burners. I hear Lipo 6 is good and Hydroxycut hardcore is supposed to work wonders. I have also heard these are complete gimmicks. I was wondering since I have my top 2-4 abs showing if this would actually put me over the edge if I used it for about a month or whatever. I was trying to find some conclusive opinions if they really do burn fat.  Also I was wondering if you would recommend creatine. I was going to do the CE2 NO2 stack, not sure if you're familiar with it. Additionally I'm only 17 so I was wondering if this would pose any health issues or would I be fine. View Vince's Response

Hi Vince. You have great abs...what are your favorite exercises or the ones you find most effective for deeper cuts? Thanks Jason - View Vince's Response

Hi Vince, your in great shape man. If I could have any physique it would be yours. I'm 5'9, 180 pounds with a 36 inch waist. In recent years I've completely let myself go. I'm completely new to exercising, any recommendations on getting started? thanks for your time. Paul - View Vince's Response

Hey, I just have a couple questions with stuff.  I got measured with my body fat on one of those things where you hold the handles and straiten your hands, it said I had 9 percent body fat.  Problem is, I can really only see my top 2-4 abs and have a little bit of fat on the lower part of my ab section.  I have recently rebuilt my workout to a bunch of tri-sets for a more face paced circuit like full body workout that I will do 3 times a week.  On top of that I have also picked up ultimate fighting training.  I was wondering how much cardio would you recommend to do and if so would you focus more long like mileage type cardio or shorter sprint like cardio.  Also, how long do you think I twill take to achieve these results.  I'm 6'0, 175, w/ supposedly 9 percent body fat.  Just wondering how much cardio you would do, what you think of the full body workout to boost metabolism and what not.  Also I'm not TOO strict on my diet but I try to avoid fast food and pop as much as possible, I eat 5-6 meals a day, and I try to consume as much protein as possible within reason. - View Vince's Response

Why is distilled water so preferable? I've never heard of it's purpose other than car engines before I joined Sixpacknow. is it really that beneficial to getting a six pack? - View Vince's Response

Hi Vince...My main goal at the moment is to lose the fat around my belly and have a flat stomach.  Then I can try and get an 8 pack like yours! I eat 5 times a days:
- Breakfast I have a bowl of porridge with semi skimmed milk & banana. I also have a cup of tea without sugar.
- Midmorning I have an apple or banana.
- Lunch I have chicken breast with brown bread or tuna and salad.
- Mid afternoon I usually have another piece of fruit-apple or banana.
- Evening usually spicy chicken dish with 2 chapatti (like pitta bread).
I would say my calorie intake is about 1300-1500 a day.
Exercise wise I walk about 2 miles a day and have also have started to use a skier exercise machine. I always used to measure my waist around by hips but I found out that I should measure it from around my belly button and this takes my wasit size to 41" which is even more depressing! What would you suggest I should do to burn off fat and get that flat stomach?  Please help. Thanks. Imtiaz

Hi Vince, I am wondering what the benefit of consuming fast digesting carbs, i.e. sugar, white bread etc after workout is and another thing I have been training for about a year now and have seen some really decent results considering I was pretty fat before. I have gone from 198 pounds 22% body fat to 185 pounds 12% body fat, is this good for a 16 year old not yet at hormonal peak, do you think my age could hamper my progress? have you got any tips on taking my training and nutrition to the next level, shedding some light on the method above. I have friends who are on steroids and they look great and show me up all the time but I don't really want to take this route, do you have any advice on this. I often overlook carb timing eating complex carbs before I go to bed. View Vince's Response
