Hi,
There are arguments
on both sides about distilled water, some saying that its too
pure, robbing your body of some essential minerals, but most
arguments are in favor of it. I have to agree with the fact
that it is 100% purified water in its truest form. But,
the question is whether it really does make a difference in
getting better abs or not. Actually, it is more widely used
by bodybuilders or fitness related individuals preparing for an
upcoming contest or photo shoot. In the short term it could
be beneficial since it lacks any minerals or other ingredients
except being just pure water. This method is usually used
just to eliminate anything that could impede someone's efforts in
getting exceptionally leaned out, such as losing any excess sodium
from the body.
What I usually do is
consume a mixture of distilled water, bottle water, and regular
tap water....this way I'm getting the best of everything, and
keeping it pretty balanced out.
In summary, to get
good abs you must follow a real strict but healthy diet, mixed
with regular cardiovascular and resistance training. Once
you feel like you need that extra "edge" in order to
really start seeing that six pack look, then it would be important
to incorporate distilled water. But, then again, it probably
isn't a bad idea to continue drinking it, as long as you don't
mind paying the little bit of extra money for it.
