Week Two Results                                       

Weight Now: 188 pounds +1lb from last week  

Waist: 39" -6" since start  Body fat: 26.5% -3.5%

Hi Guys,

Well, second week over with, what can I say? The diet was certainly much easier to abide by, and of course, I’ve learned about more meals and so on… so I had a lot more flexibility. That made things much easier for me, I had next to no sweet cravings this week.

More good news…

I’m doing 500 calories per cardio session now, and over 200 first thing in the morning. I’ve been doing cardio either on an empty stomach, or after a hard weight lifting session. This maximises the low glycogen fat burning technique.

I’ve upped my protein, and been very strict with carbs after 8pm . Something I didn’t expect however, I gained a little weight 1 lb, BUT my waistline has dropped to 39”, so I need to reduce my calories further for next week, because I want to loose fat more so than gain muscle at this stage. So I’m going to simply reduce all of my portions by 10-15% each

I’ve started getting seriously acknowledged in the gym now, this week, I’ve trained with intensity 4 times, working 1-2 muscle groups fully each time I go. My cardio has improved so much, it’s unbelievable. I ran 6 miles on Sunday evening, as my weekly gauge to see my endurance. I’ve noticed that my back and arms are slightly leaner, and there’s definitely some muscle definition on my arms. But I’m still not satisfied with this progress. I’m going to train even harder still for week 3, and reduce carb intake from 6pm now.

Cardio will be slightly increased this week, that’s going to have to be early morning, and post workout too. I’ll be posting my week 2 diary for you once Matt and Rebecca have discussed some changes in my routine. That’s one of the things I really like about the website, is the fact that there is regular email conversations, and genuine care and advice tailored to the individual.

Thanks so much to all of the posts this week, I’ve lost the major overhang that someone over 40 usually has (I’m 22!). My belly still protrudes, but at least it just sticks out slightly instead of going down. Expect some amazing results for week 3 everyone, because I’m in the routine, and definitely willing to go even further to pursue a body worthy of SixPackNow.com!
